06/17/2003 Entry: "Another Fates Warning DVD release?"
Apparently, in an interview with Metal Hammer (Greece), Jim said that there may be another DVD released containing all of the John Arch era live videos.
This tip was passed on by a Greek Fates fan, I can't read the site, but I think this is the link:

I had the chance to talk to Jim Matheos after the Tampa show and asked him about this DVD. He said it is going to happen, but is probably 2 years out.

If you canīt see the shows with NDV you should catch upp with Spockīs beard DVD-live "Donīt try this att home". Tremenduos playing and singing from NDV. Well... a great show from the mighty beard anyway.
By the way... Iīm realy jealous on you Americans who will see Queensryche/Dream theatre AND Fates warning in one night.
YOU BASTARDS!!!!!

Well, as much good press as I've read about Nick, I just figured that anyone would have a rough time replacing Zonder, period. I saw the Orlando and the Tampa shows though, and let me assure anyone who is still worried -- you will be impressed.

All of the Nick D'Virgilio doubters out there have obviously never seen Nick play live. Having seen Nick play with Spocks Beard, in clinic, and solo acoustic (playing excellent drums, guitar, and singing simultaneously), he is a perfect fit for Fates. He can kick it with the heaviest cats and has a refined enough style to add the perfect tastiness that Fates requires in a drummer. I recommend all doubters reserve all comments until catching him live.......then you will know!
