Former FATES WARNING guitarist Frank Aresti has formed a new band called DARK DAY SUNDAY. Three songs from the project - "One Bullet Away", "This is Vengeance" and "The Darkness That Comes" - are available for preview at www.myspace.com/darkdaysunday.

FATES WARNING have lined up two West Coast dates prior to their appearance at the Rock Hard Festival, set to take place June 2-4, 2006 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The details are as follows:
May 31 - Santa Ana, CA - Galaxy Theater
Jun. 01 - Hollywood, CA - The Knitting Factory
Jun. 04 - Gelsenkirchen, GER - Rock Hard Festival

OSI To Release Double-CD Version Of New Album - Mar. 1, 2006
InsideOut Music has pushed back the projected release date of the new OSI (OFFICE OF STRATEGIC INFLUENCE) album, entitled "Free", to April 21 from the previously announced March 31. The CD will once again feature FATES WARNING guitarist Jim Matheos, ex-DREAM THEATER keyboardist Kevin
Moore and DREAM THEATER drummer Mike Portnoy, with FATES WARNING/ARMORED SAINT bassist Joey Vera guesting on five tracks.
A special-edition double CD of "Free" is scheduled for release in Europe on April 24.
